New York - Yellow Cabs

North America Gallery

May 4, 2013

I’ve spent the last 6 months around USA and Canada, where I had an unfortunate and severe case of camera rejection. Stuck in refusal, I still used my iPhone to save the memory.

I didn’t prepare all the pictures yet, but you can already get an idea of what New York, Los Angeles and Québec City feel like hopefully!

See the gallery.

Starting over… again.

Yup, enough said. You will find a better selection of photos in the new website… and will be able to navigate properly, finally.  Browse the galleries to discover my work!

A little bit of National Geographic!

January 11, 2012

Closer! I had this crazy dream when I was kid: I wanted to have something in the National Geographic magazine. I guess it is – or has been – the dream of any photographer at some point!

When my friend Serge told me ‘you should submit this shot to the user galleries’, I was a little bit dubitative. Yet, I tried… after all, why not?

And here it is: my icelandic horses made it to the Iceland User Gallery on National Geographic website!

The moment I discovered I felt cast in time. I remembered myself posing weirdly in zoos with my cameras and saying ‘this is going to be National Geographic style’ as a funny refrain.

Okay, I’m quite far from making it to the magazine, haha – but still. I wanted to share this moment of joy with all of you who care about my achievements and dreams :)

Thanks for being there, peeps!

Une mouette à Paris

December 11, 2011

A bird in Paris (or literally: A gull in Paris) is the latest serie that made it to my European Bliss album. I tried to sum up the city through two trips (2003 and 2008).

Since I’m fond on flying things, I couldn’t be more happy to find so many birds playing with the background and even the people, everywhere: I just I felt like one of them!

After editing these pictures, I couldn’t hardly resist the temptation of a macaron… served in Français, s’il vous plaît!

Sweet Paris, I am still so totally in love with you!

View the whole album :)

A bit of Laos, a lot of Thailand

November 28, 2011

Well, today there’s a lot of new stuff too! I added two new albums in my Thailand: Loy Krathong, the beautiful lights festival, and Mae Hong Son Loop, a crazy one week motorbike trip I took with a sweet friend.

I also added one of my favorite stories in Asian Adventures: Laos – my strange encounters in a lost village, on the border of the Mekong.

If you want to read the related stories… I am sorry again, it’s in French, but here you are :)

Thailand, my love… and more!

November 28, 2011

Well, I’ve been busy like a bee, and faster than what I thought!
There’s now my Philippines story in the Asian Adventures… and a whole new album for my favorite country in the world, my heart home: Thailand.
Thematics will vary a lot: adventure, sports, portraits, crazy nights out… I lived there for a while… and I’m about to go back (several trips planned), so stay tuned!

Lost In China

November 27, 2011

I’ve decided to upload one album/destination for every day I am at home (= not going out for any reason), if I can cope with this pace, then a lot of stuff should be available in a short time. Let’s hope!

I am happy to share today’s album: China, in my Asian Adventures chapter, of course. If you want to read about my adventure there, and you can speak a bit of french (yes, so sorry!) please head to my Vie Nomade blog!

Welcome :)

Dear friends and people,

That’s it, I got bored of the super messy Flickr account where I used to upload all and nothing. It became a non-sense.
What I wanted is to tell you my story, to have you travel through my eyes. So here it is, at least, here’s the start of it!

Because I have so many pictures to go through and upload and take care of, it’s going to take a while before everything is here…

For starters, though, see Icy Cold Iceland,  Escales in London, Vibrant Copenhagen in the European Bliss Album, and A wedding in Sri Lanka in the Asian Adventures Album. Those are the first steps I took back when I decided to leave everything and travel the world, back in 2009!
